Let me fill you all in on the new discount scrapbook buyer’s club at Top Line Creations. As I’ve said before I love TLC’s scrapbooking products, always have. Now, with their new e-commerce business model, because there is not as much overhead, Top Line Creations has been able to lower the retail prices of all of their scrapbook products. So, even retail customers have been cut a price break!

When you visit My TLC Shop, just browsing through the online store you’ll see that it’s easier to navigate, PLUS you can see the retail prices are lower, AND the Buyer’s Club prices are visible. Retail purchases will still require the purchaser to register with TLC as a customer (not including the buyer’s club here). But, take note, my “member” site address has changed, to http://member.topline-creations.com/lhaugh

Those who chose to join the TLC Buyer’s Club can also do that through the Join Me link at the top of my Member site (the link above), or through TopLineCreations.com (please use my referrer/member #420635). There are 3 different level of Buyer’s Club membership, offering a range of 25 - 40% discounts on product orders. For the sake of length in this post, and considering the hour *yawn* I’ll post the Buyer’s Club membership posts tomorrow.

Oh, and yes, there is a financial upswing to all of these changes as well. Aside from the savings as a Buyer’s Club member - I’m also able to earn a referral bonus for anyone who joins the Buyer’s Club thru my member site, and there are plans for revenue sharing (another future post).

By now the news has spread throughout the scrapbooking, and direct sales worlds that Top Line Creations is now operating as a discount Buyer’s Club. Involuntarily, I’ve had to make some adjustments, and some changes in my own scrapbooking business. I’ve also had to take some time to do some thinking, in deciding what I wanted to do.

I have decided to remain a member of TLC’s new Buyer’s Club. I love their scrapbook products, always have! I am also keeping my website - http://www.member.topline-creations.com/lhaugh - as it will now be the landing page for those I refer, or who ask me for information about Top Line Creations, or the discount Buyer’s Club. And (full-disclosure here) I do receive a Referral Bonus for each Buyer’s Club member who joins through my Member site, or uses my member #420635 when they join. We’ve also been told that we will earn some %-age on orders placed through our websites.

Some may disagree with my decision to stay with a company that could conduct business the way TLC did in it’s handling of the dissolution of all Consultantships. It effected all of us in different ways, and we’ve all had to make the decision that was best for us, and our way of doing business. After the dust settled, and I took a good hard look at what I had, and how I was building my business - this blog, my website ScrappinWAHM, plus the marketing and advertising plans I had for the future.

Adjustments will be made, but what won’t change is I’ll still be able to bring you all the latest news, and products from the cutting edge scrapbook designers at Top Line Creations. This week I’ll get you all caught up on the new Buyer’s Club, and all of the sneak peeks they’ve been giving us of the new products coming out in June! So-stay tuned! Top Line Creations announced on April 4, 2008 that their business model has changed, their “New Beginning”. The company has taken on a new business format, and will no longer be supporting a Direct Sales structure. Instead, they have moved to a Buyer’s Club format - with discounts available to their members that range from 25-40%.

Over the next couple of weeks you will see a change in my ScrappinWAHM website as well as this Journal blog, and my soon to be converted ex-Consultant, now Buyer’s Club Referral site. Seeing as I am no longer an Independent Consultant with TLC, any and all business opportunity information has been taken down. So if you see anything that I’ve missed - please let me know!

Also - you may find (obviously) that a lot of my previous posts are no longer valid, or may contain dead links. I will be going through and making adjustments/deletions to previous posts here very soon.

I would like to take a moment and thank all of my TLC Customers! You all may continue to purchase; however, I am not able to access any previous customer information, and do not earn any commission on your orders. If you do not know your customer number - you can either contact TLC directly - or create a new account.

My future plans? ScrappinWAHM.com will be taking on a new look, and a new direction! Still in it’s infancy planning stage though! Can’t share until I have a firmer plan! Don’t take me out of your bookmarks, or favorites quite yet! I may be down, but I am certainly not out!
